Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs

Odd, I think of Harley Quinn from the upcoming movie Suicide Squad when I saw this, as what she probably would wear if she's going to a formal event.

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs

It looks just like a horde of crow fairies walking in the dark, who are preparing for a battle in gothic makeup and exaggerated platforms that Lady Gaga would probably get one for each. All these make it not a surprise when he had Lady Gaga walked the show.

Calvin Klein Collection

Calvin Klein Collection

A unique statement that makes you stand out: A geode that hangs at the middle of your dress, which is something the designer brought back from his trip to Brazil personally.

Calvin Klein Collection

Calvin Klein Collection

Close-up of how the designer attached the geode with the dress.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren

RL is one of my most favourite collection. The 76-year-old designer wants us to revisit the 90s. There're a lot of investable staples-- shirts, trousers, coats, blazers with a wide array of browns, as well as black suits that are paired with cowboy hats, ruffle collars and fringed pants. A spectacular collection.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren

Style Inspiration: Lift your collar, and tie a bow.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren

I can't keep my eyes off this golden liquid asymmetrical skirt.

Nili Lotain

Nili Lotain

Side-buttoned trousers.

Le Kilt

Le Kilt

Style Inspiration: Hang your sweater on your body like this.

See by Chloe

See by Chloe

TBH I don't quite like this emerging trend-- to cross your bag over your body in a ridiculously short length. Simply because it does not look appealing at all. What do you think?

See by Chloe

See by Chloe

Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler

The duo designers have many autumn/winter staples in laced-up or wrapped design, and are oddly intriguing and calming, perhaps it's because of the choice of warmer colours. I must say this is one of my most favourite collections from New York Fashion Week.

Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler

Another lace-up piece from PS. Who did it better? PS or Rihanna for Puma? I vote PS, main reason is because it is braver, it is laced-up at parts that are really interesting and also its much greater flexibility to loosen and tighten the clothing that can display different moods and vibes.

Anna Sui

Anna Sui

Marchesa

Marchesa

Another King of the Red Carpet.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors

They said the sequins dress and pants stole the show, but I can't keep my eyes off this coat in Carolina Blue. I love the sleeves at this length, I think it is a clever way of making the super long sleeves trend becomes more practical and wearable while achieving the same 'long and skinny arms' illusion.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors

Close-up of the carolina blue coat. Just love the unnecessary-but-eye-catching oversized buttons.

Naeem Khan

Naeem Khan

Embroidered dresses in black, silver, red and gold for red carpet event.

Delpozo

Delpozo

Anything in Delpozo that grabs my attention? The gloves, especially this pair of pink gloves embellished with golden leaves.

Timo Weiland

Timo Weiland

Brandon Maxwell

Brandon Maxwell

BM has designs in a two-pieces set, dresses, or jumpsuits that could appear on the red carpet this year.

Narcisco Rodriguez

Narcisco Rodriguez

Just found the shoes by Narcisco Rodriguez are fierce.

Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta

I bow down for this beautiful coat in grey-- so glamorous and elegant. Oscar de la Renta also has mink coats that are reversible, that can give you two looks with just one coat. However, I just don't support any clothing that is not made in faux fur.

Alice + Olivia

Alice + Olivia

Badges, patches, and embroideries on the outerwear seem to be the new favourite of designers, Stacey Bendet is one of them.

Coach

Coach

Stuart Vevers gives so much fresh-ness to Coach! If there're anything I'd buy, they would be the metallic boots and the varsity jackets.

Coach

Coach

One of the metallic boots from Coach. Thanks to Alessandro Michele, we now have so many things in metallic.

Vera Wang

Vera Wang

VW's beautiful and fierce collection features a lot of fencing plastrons that you could wear it solely or with a blouse. It's beautiful because of the silhouette, it's fierce because of the thick platform sandals, sheer dresses with little black bra, and opened kilts.

Vera Wang

Vera Wang

Back side of the fencing plastron that you could wear it solely without the blouse.

Vera Wang

Vera Wang

Style inspiration: a pair of socks that match the colour of your sandals. This fierce platform sandals... whether it's worn with an over-the-knee dress/skirt or a short pants, I'm so sure that so much attention will be put on your legs because it's so chic without a bulky feel.

Co

Co

Like a collection for a classic British girl studies in a law school. This layered pleated bell sleeves blouse... mad love.

Tory Burch

Tory Burch

It's a 70s collection inspired by the designer's memories of horse riding. Can you imagine 70s icon Cher and Diana Ross wearing Tory Burch? Yes. Perhaps Diana Ross too would add a pair of her signature oversized hoop earrings.

Rag & Bone

Rag & Bone

Style Inspiration: Turtle neck top + side button-up sweater

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera

So many over-the-knee dresses that are elegant and perfect for balls.

Tommy Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger

This is a collection for two types of people-- one for those who want to cruise off the coast during the cold season, and one for people at the warmer side of the globe. It's a collection in cute sailor theme, I already can envisage many fashionistas wearing TH while cruising around the streets in New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore and of course, Malaysia. *wink

J.Crew

J.Crew

I love how J.Crew is styling the models that ensures there's at least something that will catch people's attention as you walk down the streets. This is a collection with hot pink, jade green, yellow mustard, and baby blue. As a brand that dresses the America, I personally don't think the challenge for J.Crew to retain its old customers is over yet, but I'm quite sure that this is something a bolder and younger generation of the workforce would want to try putting on-- if they have deep pockets.

The Row

The Row

TR is a label by the Olsen twins-- Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. If you are looking for different kinds of coats for the fall season, this is it. This collection is also something that will definitely be in your closet for years. Why not? They are stylish staples, don't you think this brown leather coat is cool? The colour, the length, the silhouette...

Brooks Brothers

Brooks Brothers

Polo-T in hard suit material + skirt, interesting.

Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony

Metallic skirt is on trend, OC suggests the whole look in metallic instead.

Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg

DVF collection is a day to night wear in a 70s and Bohemian style. There's hardly any piece that I don't like, especially this pair of over-the-knee suede boots.

Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg

Can you resist this dress put on Gigi Hadid? I can't.

Derek Lam

Derek Lam

Something that a number of designers are doing this fall: A turtle neck top in a deep-V dress.

Gabriela Hearst

Gabriela Hearst

Style Inspiration: Another example of a top in a dress. But do you think round neck is nicer? I vote turtle neck!

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham

This is a collection that marks the style transformation of Victoria Beckham. At least there's something that is obvious-- no heels, only flats. It's still a collection that focuses on the waistline, but it's more relaxed, as Victoria put it "... making it more daywear, more modern."

Alexander Wang

Alexander Wang

You could see young fashionistas with different acceptance levels of vogue put on a piece of AW. Everything from the top to the bottom are just super wearable. If you aim to level up and invest on your streetstyle game this fall, or to impress your classmates, AW is your pick (especially the dresses and skirts).

Self-Portrait

Self-Portrait

This is an outstanding contemporary wear by Han Chong that will make you standout at a party, it's sophisticated, and has a kind of romanticism in a fanciful way. There are so many guipure lace overlays in this collection that look like flowering vine plants around the body-- in white, black and blue. This kills me, I can't describe how much I am in love with it.

Chromat

Chromat

Chromat is a brand specialising in body-fitted wears including bodysuits, swimsuits, lingeries, corsets and sport wears founded by designer Becca McCharen who has a background in architecture and urban design. If there's anything from Chromat that you should buy to attract attention and feel sexy, I suggest all. Don't believe? Click the photo.

Fenty Puma by Rihanna

Fenty Puma by Rihanna

It's obvious, lace-up hoodies, pants, bodycon dresses, boots and super long sleeves are what will be selling out fast this fall. This is Rihanna's version of Japanese gothic streetstyle. Another successful singer-turned designer after Victoria Beckham who is not only good at styling herself, but also designing, or is it too early to conclude this?

Milly

Milly

Looking at this miniskirt reminds me of what Karl Lagerfeld has said that one of the two mistakes that Coco Chanel has done is to think that miniskirts are not sexy and none of the man she talked to like it. What do you think? I do think that this whole look is adorable.

Hellessy

Hellessy

Some interesting minimalistic chic cuts for the trousers, dresses, skirts as well as elaborated sleeves.

Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent

Midi dresses, wide belts, leather culottes dominated the whole collection at Saint Laurent. Style Inspiration: Deep-V dress + high neck crop top (although it doesn't look like they are separated piece here)

Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent

Style Inspiration: blouse + leather culottes + wide belt. Looks like you might regret if you've thrown away that outdated wide belt you had years ago.

McQ Alexander McQueen

McQ Alexander McQueen

I like how the O-ring belt becomes the protagonist of the whole simple look.

Trademark

Trademark

Trademark's collection has some very eye-catching outerwears for the minimalists who demand for a quirky and special touch that can make them standout.

Red Valentino

Red Valentino

I'm not sure if you actually want to wear this kind of mesh sheer dress during the winter but it is undoubtedly chic, girly, cute and sexy. Of course, it's the sister brand of Valentino, which always knows how to spell FEMININE. Not forget to mention how Red Valentino has put in the heavy use of floral elements in this winter collection.

10 Crosby Derek Lam

10 Crosby Derek Lam

Skinny scarf is basically an essential of the 70's and it has started becoming a trendy element again. So... here's how you could make your pyjama blouse looks more serious and chic. If you don't have a skinny scarf, perhaps a choker.

Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor

If you love country style, you should put Rebecca Taylor on your list. I love how dark floral patterns are being used in the designs that show an atmosphere of how reluctance she is to let spring goes. Patched jeans appear in about 1/5 of their collection.

Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor

I'm not yet done with Rebecca Taylor. Just a close-up of this beautiful mix-match idea: Snakeskin + Floral

Missoni

Missoni

Missoni has quite an interesting collection that's full of retro patterns for coats, culottes, boots and dress with a bit of modern touch. For example, super long wide trousers and waist-relaxed coats.

Victoria, Victoria Beckham

Victoria, Victoria Beckham

Victoria is a sister brand of Victoria Beckham that is more playful and youthful. "It's for girls who want to have fun, but not too much fun," said Victoria Beckham. Although it's a fall collection, you smell summer because of colourful flower embroideries.

Victoria, Victoria Beckham

Peter Pilotto

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane

"Things are so normal these days. So why not think out of the box?" The coats, dresses and gloves at CK are fringed with multi-coloured ostrich feathers and decorated with hand-stitched flowers that are often deemed as an old-fashioned design. Oddly, they became fresh and modern through Christopher's magic hands.

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane

Pinned-up stones along the lines and around the dress is almost as effortless and effortful as it seems. Confused, puzzled but fascinated are what I feel for this collection.

Burberry

Burberry

I'm usually a big fan of Burberry, but I've to say I'm not really into this collection. Can't really find anything that I have 'feel' for it, from the military coat, snakeskin coat, cashmere plaided coat to the seventies elongated collars and brocade shirt dress.

Burberry

Burberry

I love the idea of Christopher Bailey who describes this collection as a patchwork of his favourite things, but not the silhouettes that seem a bit awful to me. Many elements do not click with each other and the tights worn with almost every look are pretty unpleasant to me, personally think many looks are better off without the tights.

Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen

There's no line between dream and reality at Alexander McQueen this fall, just like there's no line between ready-to-wear and haute couture-- all pieces are perfectly tailored and embroidered. It's for a woman to go out for a date or a walk at night, with those embroidered stars and moons. This collection is just so delightful and feminine.

Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen

The outerwear game is strong in Alexander McQueen with embroideries of eyes, stars, moons and birds. This leather jacket is particularly special, that worths your special attention on its sleeves. The whole collection feels like a very girly Vivienne Westwood.

Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen

The embroideries game is also extended to the footwear.

Temperley London

Temperley London

Looks perfectly like something to be worn for a romantic candle dinner by the beach.

Mulberry

Mulberry

Instead of styling a deep-V dress with a high neck shirt, I like how Mulberry styles it this way.

Mulberry

Mulberry

This is the first main collection by the new designer, Johnny Coca for Mulberry, who was formerly in charge of Celine's accessories. Yellow seems to be Coca's colour for fall, it appears from head to toe of his designs. I particularly love the shoes here, they seem to be perfect for any fall/winter look.

Vivienne Westwood Red Label

Vivienne Westwood Red Label

“There are always things in the collection that I do again and again, which for me are basic, and which I think are timeless. That coat—the prince’s coat—I did it such a long time ago in the Harris tweed collection and I think it’s fantastic. It’s adventurous. And that’s a key to this collection, because this woman is an intellectual, actually. She’s an art lover, an adventuress, she wants to understand the world she lives in and her place in it. She’s like me, actually.”

David Koma

David Koma

DK's wrap skirt + high neck shirt with extended cuffs-- an intelligent woman look.

Mary Katrantzou

Mary Katrantzou

It's a combination of femininity and masculinity at MK. If there's anything I would invest in it would be a jacket/coat with the complex work of embroidery and embellishment that she's always been really great at. I don't think this style of a jacket/coat would ever fade.

Anya Hindmarch

Anya Hindmarch

So is there anyone who would like to change her Kipling bag with this?

House of Holland

House of Holland

The designer Henry Holland is probably having a crush on jellyfish. He's always been witty on his designs, and yet can make them look so effortless, relevant, and easily accepted. His ability to be fun with the right amount just make his designs so wearable.

House of Holland

House of Holland

And a slip-on silk dress that looks sexy but does not look like something you would wear on the bed. Perhaps this is how he twists that silk dress that is on trend now that often looks like a bedroom dress.

Simone Rocha

Simone Rocha

Simone Rocha is one of my favourite emerging designers, because she always defines femininity in a different way. She reminds me of another brand-- Valentino, but a little less untouchable, unrealistic and dreamy. Probably a more down-to-earth type of girl, or what we call in Chinese "觸碰到的女神".

Simone Rocha

Simone Rocha

And this bathrobe by Simone Rocha, too pinky not to share.

J.W. Anderson

J.W. Anderson

Everything in this collection seems to be a celebration of borderless, ruleless and madness for fashion forward fashionistas. I specially love this coat and this pair of shoes among all the looks.

Shrimps

Shrimps

A label focuses on the outerwear and faux fur with a touch of witticism for fashion-forward fashionistas. I especially love the skirt with this funny hand-drawn face.

Shrimps

Shrimps

Close-up of the hand-drawn face of the skirt. I suppose the designer behind the label, Hannah Weiland loves shrimps. If you go to her website, even the cursor of your mouse is a cute shrimp. She must be one of Forrest Gump's best friends *laugh Click the link below to play around her website.

Jamie Wei Huang

Jamie Wei Huang

My first impression of this intriguing collection: A rebel with a great taste.

Jamie Wei Huang

"The essential components of the label is simplistic with clean refined outline, masculine undertones, details of light metal and leather elements and strong pattern cutting, to present a modern character story through the materials." -- LondonFashionWeek.co.uk

J Moon

J Moon

This collection by Korea and London based designer Jay Jinhee Moon immediately caught my eyes because of her soothing mixture of colours and interesting details of the skirts. Only found that she is the recipient of 'Best Directional Use of Colour and Texture' at London College of Fashion when I went to google search on her, who is also the top 200 emerging designer in 2014 selected by Vogue Italia.

J Moon

J Moon

If your style is quite a minimalist and more to Korean style, she is a designer you should keep an eye on. I can't express enough her intelligent mix of different textiles that quickly makes you stand out from a sea of minimalists. They look minimal yet sophisticated. It's like telling people 'I might look like I'm no different from others outside but I'm absolutely not inside'. Check out her SS16 collection by clicking the link provided below.

Pam Hogg

Pam Hogg

Replacing zip for laced-up, interesting. This looks like something Lady Gaga should wear when she performs her song 'Gypsy'.

Magda Butrym

Magda Butrym

I kinda like this ruffled-sleeves shirt and that super long belt.

Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti

Pyjamas trend (silk and lace) is still going strong in AF, but these pyjamas are really something you can wear out from your comfy home without getting an 'eww' but an 'aww-esome'.

Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti

The smart casual workwear doesn't look any less formal with lace and sleep robe style outerwear.

Alberta Ferretti

Detail: The juxtaposition of silk and wool with flowers and birds.

Fay

Fay

Women today can express themselves not only through what they talk, what they do, and also what they wear. The line between masculine and feminine is getting blurred and now is this knitted sweater in macho style.

Gucci

Gucci

70s sport, 80s Italian and French couture, antiques, spray, veils hats, pearls, crystals, puffy shoulders are the keywords of Gucci's fall collection. As always, Alessandro Michele has showed another level of mix&match with different fabric patterns, culture elements and graphics that seem intolerant of each other to become a harmony piece of design-- that absence of each element would make the whole look becomes... weird. #mastersifu

Gucci

Gucci

Detail: Spray paint at the back of the bomber jacket. Will there be another proliferation of this graffiti design in an 'inspired version' again after the flowers, bees, and leopards?
