5 Collections You Need To Know from Seoul Fashion Week

The Seoul Fashion Week for SS16 was just about one month ago from 15th of Oct to 21st of Oct. This fashion week has not received the response from the media that they deserve to have, but there is a reason for it. The fashion in Korea has always been deemed as an experimental collection instead of a mature collection as compared to those from New York, London, Milan and Paris.


Nonetheless, to compare Asian fashion with Western fashion seems more like comparing an apple and an orange to me, they are essentially two different things-- the culture, the people, the evolution of the fashion, the history and even the weather of the country. I actually love the Korean fashion vibe that is not banal at all, they have their own style, and I'm glad that they have preserved it fairly well. The Korean collections are always a little more playful, young and quirky. What's more important? Their clothes always suit Malaysia's weather! And this post is going to be a short introduction to several Korean designers who are great!

Item to Buy: I looked over and over again on the entire collection, I couldn't really decide which one to... not buy-- the leather pants, the combo of silk top + jogger pants + coat, the cut-out blouse, I really want to have them all. In fact, this is a much better airport theme collection TO ME as compared to Chanel's, which also has a similar theme. This collection is perfect for vacation, and if you are really into 'ahh I'm so tired after long hours on the plane but I still look chic' that kind of airport style, this is for you. Also, if you've always liked wearing outerwears like me, Lucky Chouette has great designs of coats with different colours and a little twist.
